Global Filtration was founded in 1995 to provide business aircraft companies with high-quality certified parts for corporate Fortune 500 clients. These clients included Dassault Falcon Jet, DynCorp, General Electric, General Dynamics, S.C. Johnson & Son, Boise Cascade, Hamilton Sundstrand, and many others.
In 1999, we were rated as the #13 fastest-growing and privately-held company in Houston according to the Inc. 5000 Series: Texas. After just four years in business, we had grown by 841% due to our ability to offer quality products at highly competitive prices. In 2001, we were selected to the prestigious Inc. 500 list of the top 500 fastest growing private companies in the United States.
From the beginning, our focus was on filters, with a goal of driving innovation as well as supplying hard-to-find items. We revolutionized the development of PMA filtration products for all aviation sectors, from general business and corporate flight departments to regional and light commercial airlines. This resulted in FAA approval for over 75 new elements in aircraft filtration. We continue to lead the industry with the introduction of our one-of-a-kind metal fiber filters for aircraft hydraulic systems.
We are compliant with ISO 9000 specifications and are certified by the Aircraft Suppliers Association (ASA). We proudly support the aviation industry through our membership in key organizations, including the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA), Air Carriers Purchasing Conference (ACPC), Regional Airline Association (RAA), Helicopter Association International (HAI), and National Agricultural Aviation Association (NAAA).
Approved Under FAA 00-56A Standards
Global Filtration is approved under FAA 00-56A standards, an accreditation program for aircraft parts distributors. These standards aim to enhance the quality and traceability of aircraft parts by encouraging distributors to implement quality management systems and undergo third-party audits. They have improved industry oversight and tracking of parts throughout the supply chain, reducing the risk of counterfeit or unapproved parts entering the aviation system.
All of our products are factory new and/or fully traceable to an approved supply source. They also include relevant FAA 8130-3 airworthiness tags and Certificates of Conformance. These documents provide verification of the parts’ airworthiness and conformity to approved specifications.
